What to include

  • Your portrait — buyers reply to a person.
  • A title buyers understand: 'Account Executive, Mid-Market' beats internal level names.
  • Mobile number, so a warm lead can call back.
  • One button matched to the stage: 'Book a demo' or 'Start a trial'.
  • LinkedIn, and only LinkedIn.

What works for sales

  • 1

Button beats link when the goal is a booked meeting or a quote request.

  • 2

Match the button to the stage: 'Book a demo' for prospects, 'Get a quote' for inbound.

  • 3

Keep the social row to LinkedIn — sales signatures get cluttered fast.

Common questions

Do call-to-action buttons in signatures actually get clicked?
In cold outreach, rarely — the body of the email has to earn that. In active threads they do: a scheduler link in the signature saves the 'when are you free' exchange. Measure yours by adding UTM parameters to the button URL.
Should the sales team share one signature design?
Yes — a consistent signature makes twenty reps look like one company. The Sales Team template is built for that and can be applied across Google Workspace with each rep's name, title and mobile filled in automatically.
Is a compact signature right for follow-ups?
It is. The full signature belongs on first contact; the Rep Compact version keeps the demo link in a two-line footer that doesn't pile up in a long thread.

Every template here is free to customize in the signature generator and install yourself. If your company runs on Google Workspace, the same design can be applied to every employee from the admin side — see how team management works.
