Job Seeker Email Signature Templates

Between roles, the company field is the awkward part. These signatures use it for your city or field instead, keep your target title under your name, and give a hiring manager one link to click.

What to include

  • The role you're applying for in the title field.
  • Your city or specialty in the company field.
  • One link: portfolio, résumé or LinkedIn.
  • A phone number recruiters can reach you on.

What works for job seekers

  • 1

Title field: the role you're applying for, not the one you left. Company field: your city or specialty.

  • 2

One link — portfolio, résumé or LinkedIn. A hiring manager won't click three.

  • 3

Keep the color quiet. Ink, slate or navy read as considered; the résumé should do the standing out.

Common questions

What do I put where the company name goes?
Your city, or a short line about your field — 'Product Design · Chicago'. It renders as the brand line, so it reads as context rather than an employer.
Should I link my résumé directly?
A PDF link works if the file is hosted somewhere stable. LinkedIn is the safer default because it never goes out of date between applications.
